Self-hosted AI for law firms

A private AI for your firm.
On your server, under privilege.

Self-hosted AI intake and automation that answers every inquiry in seconds and turns more of them into signed clients. It runs on the firm's own server, on a local model, so privileged client data never leaves the building. No cloud. No third parties.

More clients booked/answers in seconds/your server, your keys/fixed price

The shift

A privileged conversation does not belong on someone else's server.

A law firm cannot pour privileged client conversations into a public chatbot. The moment a matter's details leave the building, you have lost the one thing the client trusted you to keep.

The answer is not to avoid AI and watch the firm next door pull ahead. It is to own it. Run the AI on your own server, on a local model, inside your own walls. Same speed. Same intelligence. None of it ever leaves.

And it pays for itself in the work it does. Every after-hours inquiry answered in seconds. Every lead captured before it dials the next firm on the list. The hours your team gives back when the intake and admin run themselves.

What I build

Three systems, each self-hosted on infrastructure you own.

01

The flagshipPrivate Intake Assistant

A self-hosted AI receptionist that answers, qualifies, and books your prospective clients 24/7, so the after-hours inquiries you used to lose become booked consults. It runs on the firm's own server, on a local model, so the conversation never leaves the building.

  • Answers from your own FAQ, gathers the matter details, and books the consult.
  • Built to never give legal advice and never promise an outcome. It always defers to an attorney.
  • Hot / warm / cold matter triage decided in code, so qualification is auditable.
02

On your documentsCase & Document Intelligence

Ask plain-English questions across a matter's files and get an answer that cites the source page. Flag risky or missing clauses in contracts and intake documents.

  • Runs against the firm's own documents, on the firm's server. Nothing is uploaded to a public API.
  • A fast first-pass reviewer that points your attention. Never a replacement for the attorney.
  • Answers carry their citation, so every output is checkable.
03

The quiet workIntake & Back-Office Automation

The repetitive intake and admin work, handled automatically on infrastructure you own. An instant first response to every inquiry, each matter routed to the right attorney, and a morning brief of what needs you today, so your team spends its hours on legal work, not data entry.

  • The first firm to reply usually wins the client. This one replies in under a second, around the clock.
  • Self-hosted on n8n. A flat, predictable hosting cost instead of per-task metering.
  • You keep the workflows, the credentials, and full control.
Same intelligence. None of the exposure.

The firm down the street is already using AI.
The question is where their clients' words go.

Yours stay on a server you control, behind your own walls, the same place your files have always lived. The speed of a modern tool, with the discretion the work has always demanded.

How it works

Scoped, built, and handed to you.

  • 01

    We scope it

You tell me the workflow you'd never put in the cloud. I send back a documented architecture and a fixed price. Never hourly.

  • 02

    I build it

Self-hosted n8n and a local LLM (Ollama), on a server you control. I work in writing, so you get a clear plan and a fixed number, not a calendar full of calls.

  • 03

    I hand it over

You own the system, the workflows, and the keys. Handover is a short Loom walkthrough and a one-page runbook. Optional monthly retainer for monitoring.

Why on your server

The point is not a feature. The point is where it lives.

Cloud AI sends every word your client types to a server you do not control. Inhouse AI does not. Here is the path a client message takes, plainly.

The line is the product. Everything that touches a privileged matter stays to the left of it.

Cloud AI reads your clients' words on someone else's server. I build the version that runs on yours.

    Who it's for

For firms that hold privilege like it matters.

US law firms: solo practitioners and small firms of one to ten attorneys, in personal injury, criminal defense, immigration, and family law. The practices where a client's first message is already privileged, and a faster intake form is not worth the exposure.

    Who I am

A real operator who evaluates these models for a living.

I'm Soumyajit Mondal, the founder of Inhouse AI. I build these systems myself, from Kolkata, India, for law firms that want the speed of AI without handing their clients' words to a third party.

    • Integrated Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech), IIT Kharagpur (2026).
    • AI Training Specialist at Outlier AI. RLHF and LLM / code evaluation. I judge how these models behave, day to day.
    • Shipped a production RAG chatbot serving 200+ daily queries at 94% accuracy.
    • Udyam / MSME-registered software business.

I'll be honest about where I am. I'm early, and I take my first law-firm engagements at founder rates. For you that means direct founder-level attention and an honest fixed price while I build the track record. I work in writing, so you get a clear plan and a fixed number. I still take a call when your firm prefers one.
